The first organizational meeting for telecommunications companies was held under the auspices of the Telecommunications Companies Forum, in the presence of the Deputy Governor for Regulation and Competition at the Communications, Space and Technology Commission, Engineer Omar bin Abdulrahman Al-Rajraj, and with the participation of heads of regulatory sectors at telecommunications companies.

This meeting comes within the framework of enhancing integration and cooperation between the regulator and telecommunications operators in the Kingdom, to review future directions facing the telecommunications sector and structural changes in the field of telecommunications that support achieving the goals of digital transformation within the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
The meeting agenda included three main themes: a summary of the Regulatory Committee's work and studies. This was followed by a presentation by heads of regulatory sectors in companies on the strategic challenges facing the telecommunications sector, with clarification of opportunities and solutions to address them. The meeting included a fruitful discussion on the best options to ensure continued development in the sector to keep pace with rapid technical changes in telecommunications systems and services.
Participants emphasized the importance of such meetings in discussing challenges and exploring ways of cooperation to achieve the strategic objectives of the sector, ensuring the Kingdom's leadership in global telecommunications and technology indicators.
